In the Book of Joshua, part of the Bible, the Israelites, the people of ancient Israel, come to take Jericho, a walled city. God tells them to march around it.
So they circle it once a day for six days, and seven times on the seventh.
Then priests blow trumpets and everyone shouts. The story says the wall falls, and they charge in and take the city.
