At dawn, Inez found footprints in the snow around her tent. They stopped at her empty camp chair.
She folded the chair and packed it away. Fresh footprints appeared beside her. She took a step; they followed.
Inez unpacked the chair and set it back on the snow. The footprints turned toward it. She left the chair behind.
