In Genesis, the first book of the Bible, God gives Noah exact plans for the ark, the boat that carries his family and animals through the flood.
It must be 300 cubits long, 50 wide and 30 high. A cubit is about a forearm’s length, so that is roughly 135 meters long, longer than a soccer field.
It gets three decks, a roof and just one door, in its side.
