Deuteronomy, a book of the Bible, tells of Og, king of Bashan. It says Og was the last of an ancient people some translations call giants.
How tall was Og? The book never says. It measures his bed instead: about 4 meters long, over twice a man's height.
The writer adds that, in his own day, the bed was still in Rabbah, a city of the Ammonites.
