Workers can refill some milk shelves from a cold room behind them

You take milk from the front of a supermarket display. In some designs, a worker can refill it from the other side, inside a refrigerated storage room.

The display sits in an opening between the shop and that cold room. Staff load products from behind while shoppers take them from the front.

The milk’s position can reflect how the store keeps it cold and restocks it.
